Gregory Lewkowicz is a professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the director of the Smart Law Hub. He is principal investigator at the Artificial Intelligence Institute for the Common Good (FARI) in Brussels and Koyre Senior Research Fellow in Business Law & Artificial Intelligence at the Université of Nice Sophia Antipolis. He teaches the course “Smart Law : Algorithms, Metrics & Artificial Intelligence” at Science Po Paris School of Law. He teaches also at Paris II Panthéon-Assas and at HEC-Paris. He is a member of the external advisory board of AI4Belgium, of the “Club des juristes” digital taskforce (Paris). His research examines the interactions between law & digital technologies, global and transnational law and the transformations of legal professions. He conducts several research and industrial projects, including R&D, with public and private partners. He regularly advises governments and private companies on digital transformation.

Pilleriin Lillemets is a digital transformation and cyber policy expert with over a decade of experience in various public sector and international organisations. She currently serves as the Chief Digital Strategy Officer at the Estonian Government CIO Office, part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. Pilleriin holds a Master's degree in Technology Governance and Digital Transformation from Tallinn University of Technology, where her research focused on the digital transformation of the Estonian public sector. She also holds a Master's in Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki. Before her current position, Pilleriin was the Cyber Defence Counsellor at the Estonian Permanent Representation to NATO. Prior to that, she coordinated cyberspace operations training for NATO as the Head of Cyberspace Operations Education and Training Discipline at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tallinn. Her experience extends to teaching as a Lecturer in Defence and Cyber Studies at the Baltic Defence College and held various roles at the Estonian Ministry of Defence, including that of a Policy Adviser.

Rosa Elvira Lillo Rosa Elvira Lillo was born in Mérida (Badajoz). She graduated in Mathematics with Honors from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1992 and obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from the same university in 1996. Since 2010, she has been a Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at the Department of Statistics at the Carlos III University of Madrid. She has served as the Director of the Statistics and Business Degree program, Director of the Department of Statistics, and currently serves as the Head of the UC3M-Santander Big Data Institute (www.ibidat.es). She has authored over 90 articles in international impact journals, supervised 18 doctoral theses, and collaborated on numerous research and application projects for both businesses and public institutions. In 2012, she was awarded the Excellence Award for young researchers by Banco de Santander and has previously been a visiting professor at the University of California (Berkeley) and the University of Arizona (Tucson). Since 2005, she has received several awards for her teaching and research contributions, and since 2014, she has been a member of various evaluation committees at ANECA and AEI. She is also deeply committed to outreach activities and is the creator of the "STAT WARS" events, which have gained national and international recognition. Since taking over the leadership of IBiDat, she has intensified the transfer of R&D results through projects with companies and public institutions, which she likes to refer to as "Boutique Projects." Her research interests include multivariate techniques in Big Data and their applications in medicine, social networks, and finance, as well as point processes and their applications in finance and queuing networks. She also focuses on the interpretability of machine learning models and fairness in AI.
