Biography
Claudio Baldassarre is a seasoned creative technologist in Semantic Technologies development and application. Started is career with academic research in the field of Semantic Web and soon after moved to work as international consultant for various agencies of the United Nations looking to harmonize global statistical records with definition of Thesauri, Ontologies and Linked Data Networks. He dedicated his effort to solve the problem of sustainable and cost-effectiveness maintenance of large linked data assets lifecycle within the collaboration with the United Nations as well as with the Italian National Council of Research. Active in the Pharmaceutical R&D proving the value of working with consolidated scientific knowledge base to significantly reduce the time to identify novel drug targets. Currently active with the DIGIT DG and SEMIC initiative overseeing the activities to promote and adopt solutions that makes cross-boarder interoperability an even more tangible and executable reality.

In this role, she manages communication strategies and oversees special growth initiatives for the company, with a primary focus on coordinating the ION AI Advisor to the Government project in Romania and other nations that are currently implementing this AI initiative. With more than a decade of experience in the technology startup field, Mihaela's work involves assisting technology startup companies in expanding their international presence, strategizing for growth, and attracting investments at various stages of development.
