Enrico Francesconi is a Research Director at IGSG-CNR, the Institute for Legal Informatics and Judicial Studies of the National Research Council of Italy and Policy Officer of the European Parliament. His main research interests include Semantic Web technologies for the legal domain, legal ontologies and knowledge representation, AI techniques for legal document classification and knowledge extraction, legal reasoning, e-Government, e-Participation, semantic models for the document collections of the EU. He has been Policy Officer of the European Commission - DG Publications Office. He is President of the Nominating Committee of the International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law (IAAIL) and Member of the Steering Committee of Jurix Foundation. He was IAAIL President for the period 2020-2021 and Member of the IAAIL Executive Committee (2014-2021). He is Section Editor on Ontology and Knowledge Representation of the Artificial Intelligence and Law journal (Springer), co-Editor in Chief of the Journal on Open Access to Law (Cornell University, Law School), Scientific Advisory Board Member of Law, Governance and Technology Series (Springer). He was Conference Chair of the Fourteenth International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law (ICAIL 2013, Rome), Program Chair of the 34th International Conference on Legal Knowledge and Information Systems (Jurix 2022), Program co-Chair of the International Conference on Electronic Government and the Information Systems Perspective (EGOVIS).

Eileen Fuchs is Head of Division for Data Policy, Data Strategy and Open Data at the Federal Ministry of Interior and for Community. She and her team work on general data policy issues, i.a. data strategy and data governance, regulation on access to and re-use of government data, but have also set up a data laboratory for the Ministry and its agencies and are working on building an overarching data catalogue of the Federal Government. In addition, her division develops policy, regulation and practice of open data provision of Federal government data. Previously, Eileen was in charge of general digital policy issues, also on EU and international level, and developing digital skills. She has been working in government since 2008 in various positions and had the opportunity to experience its many facets: security, administrative modernization, better regulation as well as general policy coordination and strategy development. She is a trained lawyer and has a strong background in European Law, having worked as lecturer at the Europa-Institut of the University of Saarland, Germany before entering the civil service.

Graduated as a landscape architect at the University of Horticulture and Food Industry Budpaest, obtained an MA degree in Urban History from the University of Leicester, and a PhD degree from Corvinus University. As a designer, he was involved in the preparation of regulatory and spatial planning plans, and the creation of a green network strategyes. Between 2012-2020, he coordinated the implementation of the AngelGREEN greenspace strategy of the 13th District of Budapest. Since 2020 he is the hed of the Greeninfrastructure Development Team at the newly established Landscape Architecture Department of Budapest City Municipality
